Zoom - MVWI - September Meeting - Howard & The Great British Bake-Off

This month we were supposed to be getting together for a bit of cake decorating as part of our 10th birthday celebrations. As we can't even count how many Covid rules this would break, we have made a change to the programme.

We are delighted that Howard Middleton, who appeared as a contestant on The Great British Bake-Off a few years back, will be joining us. He'll tell us all about his early inspiration and motivation for baking, the audition process for GBBO, highlights of his time on the show and all about what's he's been up to since. There will be an opportunity for questions too...

He's particularly interested in making baking inclusive and has a wide range of gluten free recipes - this may be the time to ask him a question or two!

How to attend the meeting:

First, you will need to access the meeting via Zoom. Most of you will be familiar with this by now but you can use your smartphone, ipad, tablet to download the app or your desktop/laptop to visit the website.  You will need to be able to access the internet. Once you have RSVP'd, you will be sent the link to the meeting and the Meeting ID. It's a good idea to follow the link in advance to check it's working.

If you will be using a phone or tablet, you may need to download the app in advance.

Don't worry if you lose the email, we will send it again on the day.

The meeting will open at 7.45pm for an 8.10pm start to give everyone time to get in and check they can hear the meeting. Please sign in as early as you can to make sure we are ready.
