Zoom - Craft Group - May

This month we’ll be making tassel garlands!  

While COVID restrictions still prevent us from meeting face-to-face, we’re focusing on simple crafts you can do at home that don’t require any specialist equipment. This month, we’ll be making no-hassle tassel garlands to bring some summery boho chic into our homes.  

You will need: 

-Yarn (in any or many colour/s). You can use leftover ends of balls, or Poundland on Victoria Road sell yarn pretty cheaply (other purveyors of yarn are available). 

-Scissors 

-A hardback book or similar rectangular object to wrap your wool around. The width of your object determines the length of your tassels. Hardback books have the advantage that there’s a ridge between the edges of the pages and cover that you can slip your scissors into.
