Wine Club - July

Same grape, different country!

We will be exploring Chenin Blanc and Syrah/Shiraz from different countries, to see what the same grape will taste like, grown in different soils with different climates.  

Chenin Blanc (it’s the same grape, just named differently in different countries) can be found in the Loire Valley in France, South Africa, Argentina, New Zealand and Australia, while Syrah/Shiraz can be found in Southern France, Chile South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, California.

We will be meeting at Toni's house. A complete address will be sent to all those who have RSVP'd.

There will be 8 spaces available for members, excluding the host.

Members will also need to bring two glasses with them to use with the tastings (one for white and one for red), as well as anything they would like to use for a personal spittoon.

A tasting notes sheet and a handout offering a few pointers on how to taste will be provided on the evening.

There is a closing date for RSVP of July 17th. We would ask that those who are planning to attend fully commit by this date, especially if you are new and not part of the WhatsApp group. The Wine Club WhatsApp group is useful for speedy communication and you will be invited to join.
