Walking group - June

Please join us for an easy, flat circular walk (3.5 miles ) along the Wey Canal, through meadows and with an optional 1 mile walk to a medieval church at Wisley village, via Wisley golf course.

We will meet at the car park on Dunsborough Park, near the playground, at 11.15a.m.  (Off Ripley High Street, turn right into The Green, i.e. first right after Half Moon Inn, which continues to become Dunsborough Park). We will head towards nearby facilities if people need a toilet stop, before heading off on our walking route.

Coffee/ lunch stop is at The Anchor pub (Pyrford lock). The walk continues via Ockham Mill, returning to Ripley Green through woodland paths.

The walk is easy and flat (dog friendly). There are some uneven paths due to tree roots etc but lightweight walking shoes are fine. 

Refreshments available at pub but please bring water/ snacks and wear suitable clothing/footwear. Toilets available at car park and pub.

The later start time of 11.15 am is to avoid the rush hour on A3 towards Wisley.
