Walking Group - August

Please RSVP for the walk. 

We will meet at Richmond Station at 11am

Please join us on a walk by the river (St Margaret's side) via Isleworth, Syon Park and Brentford (canal) to Boston Manor Park. We can stop for coffee/ toilets at pub in Isleworth. Lunch stop will be at Boston Manor House (café or picnic) and there's an opportunity to visit /tour the house (free entry). From here we can walk to Boston Manor tube station or take 65 bus back to Richmond/ Kingston. There are toilets at Richmond Station, pub and Boston Manor Park.

Please bring your own drink (and picnic). Limited options at café. Please wear suitable footwear for walking and waterproofs/ suncream as appropriate!

Subject Specific Heath & Safety

Members gathering for a physical event e.g. walking group are advised to stay hydrated and bring their own bottle of water/drink, which should not be shared with others.

Please wear suitable clothing and footware for your walk.

COVID specific reminders

While MOST COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we will still be taking precautions to reduce the risk of transmission during physical events:

· If you are symptomatic of COVID-19, please do not attend any physical event. If you test positive you must inform the Secretary or President.

· Members who are clinically at high-risk are advised to decide carefully whether attending face-to-face is a safe option for them in the chosen venue and situation.

· Members are encouraged to continue to wear masks when attending the meeting if they wish to do so, but this is not obligatory (unless specified by the venue). Please respect the choices made by the attendees in this regard.

· All members attending are advised to bring hand-sanitiser with them and to use it at regular intervals during the event.

· Members are advised to bring their own packet of appropriate wipes to wipe surfaces in venue toilets.

· Please note that the names and contact details of all attendees will be recorded to ensure that in the event we are notified of a positive Covid-19 test either from a Member or the Venue we will notify all of the attendees.
