About the Event

We'll be back at The Duke of York again this year for a delicious Christmas dinner. Booking is essential for numbers and payment can be made in cash at the November meeting. If you can't make November's meeting, please contact us to make other arrangements to pay. No payments can be taken on the night as we have to pay in full in advance.

2 courses - £24.50 (+£1 if having cheese board for dessert)

3 courses - £28.00 (+£1 if having cheese board for dessert)

(includes the service charge so tips are taken care of!) You can purchase your own drinks on the night.

STARTERS:

CARAMELISED WINTER VEGETABLE SOUP (V) Maple-flavoured syrup, bloomer bread and butter Vegan option available (VE) BLOODY MARY PRAWN COCKTAIL Bloody Mary Cocktail Sauce, baby gem lettuce, bloomer bread and butter 

OAK-SMOKED CHICKEN LIVER PARFAIT Fig, cranberry & date chutney and toasted bloomer bread 

MUSHROOMS WITH GARLIC CREAM SAUCE (V) Sautéed mushrooms, bubble & squeak, Italian style hard cheese and chopped chives 

MAINS:

HAND-CARVED ROAST TURKEY Goose fat roast potatoes, sausage meat stuffing, pig-in-blanket, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and gravy 

FESTIVE BURGER Beef burger and a sausage meat patty, Croxton Manor Brie, smoked streaky bacon, skin-on fries, cranberry BBQ sauce and sprout slaw 

HERB-CRUSTED COD WITH MUSSELS Tomato & basil-crusted cod loin, bubble & squeak, fine green beans and mussels in a shellfish bisque 

BONELESS BEEF BOURGUIGNON 7-hour slow-cooked rib in a baby onion, bacon & red wine sauce, creamy mashed potatoes, roasted red onions, cabbage, topped with crispy shallot rings 

FESTIVE NUT ROAST (V)(N) Butternut squash, cashew & walnut roast topped with Croxton Manor Brie, cranberry sauce, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and gravy 

BEETROOT WELLINGTON (VE) Roasted beetroot & butternut squash with cranberry sauce in puff pastry, seasonal vegetables and vegan gravy
