Join us for Christmas Dinner! We'll be meeting in person at The Grove in Surbiton on Monday 6th December.
19.30 at The Grove
The Menu is:
2 Courses - £30.40 (including service charge that will be applied to the bill for groups
3 Courses - £33.75 (including service charge that will be applied to the bill for groups)
STARTERS
Crispy duck, oakleaf lettuce, plums, candied hazelnuts (Available as a main course)
Smoked chicken & Parma ham terrine, mulled cranberry chutney, toast
Gin-cured salmon, pickled cucumber, dill crème fraîche, rye bread
Grilled king scallop, tiger prawn, garlic & parsley butter, breadcrumbs (£5.00 supplement)
Camembert & sage croquettes, pear chutney (v)
Butternut squash, coconut & coriander soup, sourdough (vg)
MAINS
Stuffed shoulder of lamb, chestnut, red wine & cannellini beans, cavolo nero
Roast turkey, pigs in blankets, pork & sage stuffing, duck fat roast potatoes, sautéed pecans, Brussels sprouts, roast carrots, parsnip purée, cranberry sauce, gravy
Roast hake, roast baby jacket potatoes, charred cabbage, capers, hollandaise

DRINKS
You will be able to purchase drinks from the bar. Add a glass of Prosecco for £3.00 when paying in advance.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We have already spoken to The Grove and they have confirmed that they can cater to most dietary requirements. Where possible they will tweak the menu above or offer another choice otherwise.
HOW TO BOOK:
Please RSVP to the event and then you will be contacted for you menu choice. You will then receive confirmation of how much to pay. All bookings must be paid for by 1st December.
While COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we will still be taking precautions to reduce the risk of transmission during physical events:
· If you are symptomatic of COVID-19, been advised to isolate by NHS Test and Trace, self-isolating or awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, then please stay at home or attend the event via Zoom, where possible.
· If you experience any Covid-19 symptoms within seven days of attending a WI in-person event or activity, you must get a PCR test. If you test positive you must inform the Secretary or President.
· It is recommended that members carry out a rapid lateral flow test before attending a meeting to ensure they are not unknowingly infected with Covid.
· Members who are clinically at high-risk are advised to decide carefully whether attending face-to-face is a safe option for them in the chosen venue and situation.
· Members are encouraged to continue to wear masks when attending the meeting if they wish to do so, but this is not obligatory (unless specified by the venue). Please respect the choices made by the attendees in this regard.
· All members attending are advised to bring hand-sanitiser with them and to use it at regular intervals during the event.
· Members are advised to bring their own packet of appropriate wipes to wipe surfaces in venue toilets.
· Please note that the names and contact details of all attendees will be recorded to ensure that in the event we are notified of a positive Covid-19 test either from a Member or the Venue we will notify all of the attendees.
. Events will only be held in a venue where a recognized Food Hygiene Rating is displayed.
. Cross contamination. Members are reminded not to share food, drink or eating utensils.
· Members are reminded to check menus to ensure food does not contain any items which will cause allergic reactions and to clarify any food contents with venue staff if unsure of contents.
Members with known allergic reactions are advised to alert the committee members attending or the event host, if they do have particular allergies, or if they carry an Epipen for anaphylaxis.
