Croquet social

For several years, Surrey Federation have held a croquet day which some of us have attended. We've had such fun we thought we'd like to give our members the chance to enjoy a social evening with a couple of croquet sessions included. Unfortunately, the limit on numbers means we can't accommodate guests.

It doesn't matter if you are a croquet champion or an absolute beginner - come and join us for an evening of mallets and merriment!

The event starts at 6.30 beginning with some social time and Pimms. The croquet session will begin at 7.00. We will break for a bring and share supper and then continue our croquet afterwards. We will be ending at around 10.00.

We are asking you to bring along about 6-8 portions of a picnic or party food dish.  To ensure we have a reasonable selection, we would like to divide into two groups:

if your first name begins with A-K, please bring a savoury dish  - NO NUTS*

if your first name begins with L-Z, please bring a sweet dish - NO NUTS*

We know many of you are busy, so please don't feel you have to make something.  We'll all be equally happy with something from a supermarket!  If you do make something, can you please bring along a list of ingredients; and if it's from a supermarket, please save the ingredients part of the packaging.  We will then display these alongside the food for anyone with dietary requirements.

The croquet club will provide unlimited tea and coffee alongside two glasses of Pimms. They have a bar on site with a limited selection of beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.

Please wear flat shoes.
