Our Ladies Who Lobby group invite all of you to join them at this year's Million Women Rise march.
The Million Women Rise website ( http://www.millionwomenrise.com/ ) has some alarming statistics - 1 in 4 women will experience violence from a man, 2 women are killed every week by a partner or ex partner and 1 in 4 women will be sexually assaulted as an adult. There are many more shocking numbers - please check it out.
The march is all about raising awareness of these issues and the demands for government and local authorities to protect women.
